As you head East on Stouffville Rd just East of Bayview Ave you will crest over a hill. Waiting at the bottom of the hill off to the right, on Trailwood Cres are the police (most commonly on weekday mornings). If you are over 70kh/hr coming over/down the hill they’ve got you.

16th Avenue near Bayview Avenue

Richmond Hill, OntarioFeb 11, 20080 Comments

Generally tripod set up west bound on 19th near the Arena and School. Will also sit in crusiers in the church parking lots or side streets for eastbound traffic and pick off cars coming down from the rail way over pass.

Yonge Street

Richmond Hill, OntarioJan 05, 20080 Comments

Travelling North on Yonge Street passed Stoufville RD or south on Yonge Street passed KING SDRD, there’s a small lot on both sides of yonge located just before colony rd. Cops tend to park there at night in disguise. Abide by the speed limit.

Also, the odd time, north on Yonge and 19th, there tends to be the odd cruiser hiding in parking lot of the motel. Be cautious.

a km south of bloomington rd at the top of the hill they will hide in a hidden entrance when you are driving north (you will not be able to see them) and on the other side at the bottom of the hill when you are going south they hide in a bus stop with a radar gun.

Weldrick Ave Avenue near Bayview Avenue

Richmond Hill, OntarioSep 25, 20070 Comments

Radar trap is setup on 2nd street west on Weldrick. It is a tripod type with the blue ghost car hidden behind the trees. As you turn off Bayview going south at the lights onto Weldrick this is a 40km zone with School bus pickup. Often a school bus is parked obscuring the view. Just keep your speed down until you clear the street where the radar gun may be set up.
