Between Lasalle Blvd. and Barrydowne Rd. A young police officer trying to make a name for himself routinely stops people in this area both patrolling and while stationary. Usually near Solid Gold. Tickets for speeding as little as 5km/h over the limit and for trivial things like having a burnt headlight.

State Highway 69N

Sudbury, OntarioSep 25, 20070 Comments

At the corner of Cecile St in Val Caron just before the bridge where the 60 turns to 80km/h. They jump out in front of your vehicle.
The new Daro building in McCrea Heights… they jump out in front of you there too.
Valleyview Public School, they are aweful there… I understand that they are enforcing school safety, but it’s unsafe for these police (men and women) to potentially put themselves in danger of vehicular homicide just to meet their quotas… The people that they are jumping out in front of ARE speeding??? Who are the dangerous ones then?
