Variety Village
Usually unmarked “stealth” cruiser hides in the driveway covered by trees, on the Kingston road side at the rear of Variety Village, eastbound lanes. It’s at a bottom of a hill, past the bridge/tunnel and around a corner, so you’re not going to see him at all.
Usually there in the Spring.

Gerrard Street East & Clonmore

Toronto, OntarioJan 01, 20150 Comments

Just east of victoria park, on gerrard in the westbound lanes, There is a curve where the speed goes from 50 with one lane of traffic down to 30 with two lanes of traffic. Impatient people once past the curve, will typically switch to the new second lane and floor it, only to get pulled over. Yes, this is a total speed trap. Thieves hang out maybe 100 meters past this point, camping behind trees, handing out 20km over tickets. Haven’t seen them there that often, but mostly in the spring.

I had a guy behind me road raging one time because i was doing 30. he’s honking his horn, flailing his arms. I was pointing up to the sign 30! 30! 30!
I tried warning him. I pass this street often and I have seen the cop there the past few days. A-hole flies around the corner probably doing 80. Nabbed.

Meadowvale Road, North of Sheppard

Toronto, OntarioDec 06, 20140 Comments

Right infront of the Toronto Zoo. Very easy location to speed over the 60km/h limit…roadway looks and feels like the 401…two lanes on either side, complete with off ramps to the zoo. Marked and unmarked cruisers with radars always here on Meadowvale and on Sheppard.
