Woodbridge, Ontario Speed Traps
On Zenway west of the 427
when you are traveling east on zenway ( a 4 lane wide, industrial road) cops hide in a small street before the on ramp to the 427. People usually do speeds of 80 on that road, because 50 (the speed limit) just feels to slow, or they are passing large trucks and merge back in to the right lane before the on ramp. Where a cop will jump in front of you, and tell you to pull in to the drive way to the right.
I’ve personally seen as many as 4 cop cars there at a time. It must be a hot spot for them
Langstaff / Ansley Grove
Police radar trap on Langstaff just west of Ansley Grove. Langstaff is 60km zone but its very easy to get 90/ 100 kmh.
Hyw #7 – 400 On ramp
While heading eastbound on Hwy# 7 to the north Hwy# 400 on-ramp, the OPP are waiting to nab you for seat belt or other forms of money making violations.
Kipling Avenue near Highway 7
Caught me on a Sunday morning. Cop was sitting at the the stop sign of Villagewood Ct. just south of Nino D’Aversa Bakery nabbing southbound drivers. Area is a community safety zone, so fines are doubled.
Rutherford Road near Vaughan Mills/Napa Valley Road
The officers usually park on Vaughan Mills Road, off of Rutherford, and radar the drivers going East or West on Rutherford (it is a 50km zone), but turns into 70 later on. They usually radar on the West side of Vaughan Mills Road where the hill is (drivers tend to go higher than 50km to gain speed up the hill).
