Mc Andrews E/B , East of Sage

Medford, OregonApr 27, 20100 Comments

The Van sits on the eastbound side of Mc Andrews, East of the RR Bridge Overpass at the very bottom and East of Sage Rd. When your traveling E/B coming up over the bridge, your excelerating and when you reach the top and start down the other side , even though the gas pedal is still in the same position, without realizing it your speed naturally increases. When the traffic is, what some would call heavy, you can’t speed, so they don’t waste there time putting the Van out, only when the traffic is very low, at which time there is no safty issue and it’s easy picking off those who are 5 or 10 MPH over which is not unsafe due to lack of fraffic and no cross streets.
One quick point though is, if your given a ticket, you have no chance of not being fined because this is a CASH COW for Medford and A NO WIN SITUATI0N because the Judge that sits in on probably 95% of these cases is in on the collection of the fees for the city. If he started being fair, he would be replaced.

Crater Lake Hwy (SR62) at I-5 North on-ramp

Medford PD motorcycle cop sits with laser targeting traffic southbound on Crater Lake Hwy. Speed limit changes from 45 mph to 35 mph after traffic light at Poplar Dr. intersection. Many don’t notice the 35 mph sign, so this speed trap is very profitable for Medford!
