Portland, Oregon Speed Traps
Hwy 43 just South of the Sellwood Bridge
Photo Radar from Navy Van thats pulled off to the right side. Posted 45mph.
SB or NB McLoughlin Blvd (99E) btwn Tacoma & Ochocco
Photo Radar is from a Dark Blue van with almost no markings. The van is usually blended in with other vehicles parked at the Acropolis or Fantasy Video if you’re headed Southbound or in the parking lot of the old Mill End warehouse if you are going Northbound. Posted speed is 45.
I5 southbound about five minutes off the I5 Bridge
Right near the Rose Quarter Exit 302a. Progression of the exits before RQ302 are as follows: a) Portland Blvd 304 b)Alberta 303 c) Rose Quarter 302. Rose Quarter is very near the DownTown District, and It’s also only five or so minutes from the Washington border. So I would imagine they would hope to not only enforce the Very low 50 Mph Posting, but also nab the Night Time InterState Traveller. Keep it around 60Mph tops Until your 5 or more Miles Up I84 East Or until you hit the SouthBound bridge Toward Beaverton.
I-405 Northbound
I 405 northbound just north of HWY 26, and south of hwy 30 exit. Motorcycle patrolman dismounted with hand held radar on right side shoulder. About once a week for two years running.
I-205 SB at Airport Way
PDX motorcycles hide in the grass median with the intent on trapping mainly Vancouver, WA commuters who have just crossed the Glenn Jackson Bridge. NO WRITTEN WARNINGS GIVEN!!!
