122nd ave. Near I84
Officer is positioned between the off ramp for I 84 and the overhead sidewalk that crosses 122nd. His sign to notify of the speed trap is a normal street sign (minus post or mount of any kind) leaning against another sign post on the ground.
Sunset / Highway 26
Cops sit on Zoo overpass behind green information sign. They also stay on the onramp of the Zoo exit. Both patrol for traffic into and out of Portland in the early morning.
217 to 26 west (Sunset)
Police wait at the end of the corner where you merge onto US 26 and you can’t see them until your coming out of the corner. They hide next to the concrete divider by the Park and Ride.
Interstate 5, Northbound, just entering the Terwilliger curves
Interstate 5 is reduced to posted 50 mph just before entering the Terwilliger "Curves", which are gentle and one can safely travel 65 mph through. Laser is hiding behind big yellow sign on overpass above who radios below to array of motorcyle cops who are waiting just prior to Terwilliger Blvd exit. When you are pulled over you are told that the posted speed through the curves is 50 mph.
