Hwy 22 from Salem to Mehama
This stretch of highway is posted 55 mph but high quality surface and comparatively long, straight stretches tempt you to higher speeds—which is exactly what the state police would love you to do. Under the pretense of keeping the roads safe, they love to nail you and pick up ther poound of flesh. Beware! This hwy is heavily patrolled.
I-5 entering Salem
A large pad between the two directional lanes when entering into Salem from Portland, generally 2-3 cops on patrol there and will sometimes wait before picking you up. fairly well hidden behind both the 45th parrelel sign and other places.
