Where the speed limit drops from 65mph to 55mph right after the Quakertown exit there is an overpass. The police sit on the left hand side under the bridge.
Just south of Allentown exit- South on NE extension Pa Tpk.
radar mounted on State Police car, hidden behind southernmost pillar of overpass immediately after Allentown exit southbound. Sounds like "instant-on".
I-78W, past the Trexlertown (Rt.100) exit
Actually, it’s anywhere along this strip (as you head into Berks County). The overpass just before Rte. 863 is a particular hiding spot (off to the side). I’ve seen them there (on either side – east and west) and at various times of day!
Rt. 22 – Airport Road South exit
There’s a large grassy area there as you get off 22 to Airport Rd. south – if you’re going the appropriate speed, you’ll be able to see them – if not…
Martin Luther King at Parkette’s School
Approximately 8AM, one unmarked car (white, in my case) sits in parking lot across the street from Parkettes school. Another officer gives chase up ahead near the First Union.
