South Richard Street near Just Before The Elks Golf Course
The borough police will sit in an alley and wait for traffic to go South (leaving the borough) or North (entering the borough) and stop you in this 25 mph zone. They will not issue you a speeding citation, instead they issue a failure to obey a traffic device so they get all the revenue from the tickets. Bascially you are violating a borough ordinance so they don’t have to share the revenue with the state or magistrates. Great money maker for the borough!
Pennsylvania 76 Turnpike near Shanksville/Somerset
Several State Troopers posted in approx 10 mile points throughout Bedford County. Which includes, Somerset, Shanksville, Schellsburg and several others
Rt 30
Rt 30 Eastbound, just past BP and Mobile fuel stations. PSP sits in mobile home sales lot on Eastbound side. Hidden by mobile home. Limit 55 Downhill stretch coming of Everett bypass.
