Bellefonte, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Traveling up the hill on Blanchard Street after passing the intersection of Hughes St. and Blanchard Street, local police park on the right at a vault company’s building to catch drivers. Speed limit is very low on this street.

Cop sits in cleared out area of embankment on left, slightly passed the entrance to lime plant. There are painted lines on road. Speed limit is 25 thru there.

Going from Spring twp. building toward vo-tech school, a cop sits under a private home car port on right close to I-99 exit ramp. Across from Stonehenge (?) housing development.

psp sit at the Methodist church at the top of the hill. radar or Laser is probably used..the speed limit is 40, which is a safe speed for that road..most people travel it quite a bit faster, more 50-55mph.

This is on US 220, headed southbound towards State College. The cop sits in a perfect spot, very well-hidden in the bushes just past the sign for the Bellefonte/Zion PA 550 sign (says exit 3/4 mile). Keep an eye out for this, it is easy to spot going north, but you’ll easily miss it heading south.
