Birmingham, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Cop sits up on the hill on Faucett Dr. and Wilmingon Pike where they can view the intersection. They added a stop sign about 5 years ago. Problem is that you can stop short and they won’t see you stop, but then pull you over for rolling through stop sign.

Police hide in side streets and walking path parking lot usually on beautiful days when people come down the long winding road. The speed limit is 25mph which is very hard to maintain as you come down the long,steep hill.

Beware when entering Birmingham Township,i.e 1 mile after passing US 1, and going US202 North especially. This local cops are very unforgiving, and will ticket constantly. I pass here multiple times of day. The speed limit is 45, and yet most cars travel faster, as its a high traffic area. Again Birmingham Township officers target this region, even though US202(Wilmington Pike/West Chester Pike) takes a little portion of this township.) Its a cash cow to the township.
