Police sit on Barker Rd. pointed tword Jenkintown Train Station. If you are going to Jenkintown you can’t see the officer till it is way to late. If you are headed way from the train then you can slow way down. I don’t see them timeing there much. Police use V.A.S.C.A.R.
Greenwood Ave. & Greenwood Pl.
Police sit on Greenwood Pl. timeing with V.A.S.C.A.R. You can see them if you traveling west bound very well, but if going east then may you can see throught the bushes the hid behind. They are’t there offen.
Glenside Ave between Easton Road and Limekiln Pike
Police sit in a parking lot near the Car Wash. Your visio of their car is blocked by a company van that parks in the lot. You can see the white lines they painted on the surface of Glenside Ave inorder to enforce their timing record in court. When there, they easily snag 15 in an hour!
Easton Road near RT 309 Bypass
Police will sit on the median and accutrak cars comming S/B on Easton Road by Arcadia University, south of the 309 off ramp…This is a new speed accutrak zone and is highly enforced by Cheltenham PD during the morning hours due to increased speeds going into the city limits by slick top and marked police units.
