West 38th Street just east of Asbury Road

This has been a very nasty speed trap for years, and is frequently manned. Millcreek police sit in cars hidden in driveways near the intersection of West 38th Street and Buckthorn Drive, just east of Asbury Road, and watch for speeders going east or west exceeding the 35 mph speed limit.

Route 20 east of approx. 1 mile east of Fairview.

State police will set up radar either at the bottom of walnut Creek hill in either direction. Road is 4 lane and speed limit is 45. They also will set up on the west side of the hill near the gymnastics business catching speeders in both directions. Being a wide open 4 lane highway, people have a hard time maintaining the 45 mph limit.

I 79 1 Mile S of McKean Exit

Erie, PennsylvaniaMar 06, 20100 Comments

There is a center median "roadway" that is located one mile South of the Mckean Exit. State Police cruisers sit there or up into the embankment of that little "roadway". This is a frequent pull over spot. Beware. 🙂
