Just when entering York County from Adams County the speed limit decreases from 65 mph to 55 mph. After traveling for about a mile you will see County Line Road on your right hand side. You go down a small crest and two large white lines are painted on the roadway. The Northern York County Regional Police are sitting about 100 yards in front of the speed on a elevated pull off area. Watch your speed while traveling this roadway the regional watches speed as if it was his driveway.

8 mile stretch of route 8 between Franklin and Oil CIty is 4 lanes wide with posted speed limits of 45 most of the way. Area is heavily patrolled by members of the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department. My citation was for 57 in a 45. Numerous "hiding spots" for police, including dirt trail adjacent to Kwik Fill, among others.
