Glenwillard, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Multiple sites. Sometimes multiple police cars involved. Entire length of McGovern Blvd from Allegheny/Beaver County line to Stoops Ferry Rd. Reputation as a speed trap along this part of McGovern Blvd (PA51) dates back decades. Hiding places include: Church gravel lot near Allegheny/Beaver County line (southbound side), northbound side abandon gravel area just north of Maple Street, parking lot of former furniture store across street & adjacent gas station, in the gas station lot, northbound side gravel lot by railroad tracks near intersection of McGovern & Riverview Rd, driveway to landscaping nursery before Purdy Rd on southbound side. Police vehicles also tend to tailgate lone traffic on this stretch of road during early morning hours. Any police vehicle pulling from a side road at any time of day will tailgate a vehicle especially if that vehicle is the lone vehicle on the road.
