Horsham Road near Norristown Road

Heading on Horsham Road, after Norristown Road, in the direction of Babylon Rd (Hatboro Horsham High School) there are two speed traps, both usually involve the cop actually sitting in the center turning lane, but I have seen a cop stationed at one of the houses in between the white lines, waiting. Relatively silly since the township knew once the road was turned into a four lane with relatively few lights between Norristown Road and Limekiln Pike it would become what some high school kids call the Autobahn or the Horsham High Way.

Dresher Road near Gibraltar Road

Officers usually sit in park entrance. Please note that in general, Horsham has been aggressively enforcing the unrealistic speed limt (of 35 MPH) on this 4 lane commercial road. It has to be a massive source of revenue for the township. Also be aware that as of approx 08/25/2007, the township has removed the large light-bars from their SUVs, and has replaced them with low profile, much less conspicuous light-bars. The township also uses a number of drab/olive colored, un-marked Ford Crown Vics. Be careful!

Maple Avenue near Moreland Road

Horsham, PennsylvaniaJul 31, 20071 Comments

An officer in an unmarked vehicle sits either in a driveway or along a side street and patrols the stretch on Maple Avenue between Easton Road and County Line Road. The posted speed is 25mph, but it is a long stretch with no lights and only one stop sign. It is very difficult to drive this stretch anywhere near the posted speed.

Cedar Hill Road between Stongs Lane and Horsham Road. Horsham Police either sit in a private driveway on the east side of Cedar Hill Road or in a grassy field on the west side of Cedar Hill Road. Speed limit 35mph clearly posted.
