Just over the 322 bridge coming from Middletown driving towards Hummelstown Square, (or a left turn, if you are coming off Rt 322 going into Hummelstown. After the crossing the bridge you will see Lower Dauphin H.S. on the right. Directly across from the school entrance is a local street entering a neighborhood. The H-town police sit in a paved area behind the corner house of the neighborhood. They are well hidden by the house until it is nearly too late to slow down. They are hard to spot ahead of time, especially if it is dark. The speed limit is 25mph here and all the way through town. At night they will also sit behind the school building on the left with their lights off. Be careful through here always! They will ticket you in a heart beat because it is a heavily traveled road and in a school zone. I agree with the speed limit because of the kids, BUT the police are VERY serious about safety through here. H-town is small and it is a great place to live, but the police don’t have much to do but give tickets to out of town visitors on their way to enjoy Hershey, PA.

Union Road near Fiddlers Elbow Road

Cops sit at the bottom of hills on this road and you won’t see them till you are on the side of the road. Sometimes they sit at the end of Fiddlers Elbow and have lines of cars pulled over.
