Rt. 30 West at causeway near Hollow Tavern
From time to time there will be a state police cruiser sitting at the entrance of the causeway directly across the Loyalhanna Creek from the Hollow Tavern. They can clock you from several hundred feet away and it’s nearly impossible to slow down in time. Speed limit is 50mph. Very easy to keep up with traffic at 65-70!

The Ligonier Town Police sit on the side streets lights out in a black car and wait for you to pass. The speed limit is 25 MPH.They will ticket you. Very easy to not obey speed limit coming southbound. Limit drops from 55 to 35 to 25 rather quickly.

As you’re coming out of Ligonier on route 7ll it goes from 25 mph to 55 mph for a very short distance, then goes back to 35 mph. Many people have been ticketed in this particular spot. Especially, if your not familiar with the area.
