Ewing Road ramp on 376 West Business Loop

Moon, PennsylvaniaJun 08, 20100 Comments

Ewing Road has ramps down to 376 W going both ways. Police sit on ramps waiting for cars traveling over the speed limit. Because the spotting cars are far up the ramps, there is no warning as you can’t see the police until you’re past them. In the mornings the trap is laid in the direction of Ewing Rd to University, in the late afternoons the trap is laid in the opposite direction. Marked and un-marked cars are used

There is a cop that will sit at the Burger King across from RMU…clocking folks going down the hill toward Coraopolis. Once he nails you he radios ahead to a cruiser by the Ford Dealer to pull you over. This trap has just appeared and is being used to apparently target kids leaving the college campus.
