Richboro, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
Tanyard Rd. between Second Street Pk. and Hatboro Rd.
Northampton Police have been putting an unmarked car here a lot lately. They tend to hide roughly across the street from Gasper Nursery in a residential development, about 1/4 mile from Hatboro Rd. Be forewarned and stay at 25 mph, at least for that short stretch.

Police sit in the driveways of the first few houses any time of the day since the speed limit was reduced to 25 MPH.
This has been very active in late Sept. and October.

State Route 232 near State Highway 332
One trap is located on PA 232 right in front of Davis car dealership. This trap is a couple of blocks south of PA 332. North of 332 there are a number of traps all leaving Richboro. One appears to use a gas station, the others use private residences and little streets to hide. Speed Limit is 35 in this area, and I’m unsure how tolerant they are.
Once in the 45 MPH zone there is one trap while heading down a hill about a mile into the 45 zone, around Sackettsford Rd. Unsure how tolerant Northampton Twp. Police are.
