Tamaqua, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

The entire stretch of 309 south of Tamaqua to Rt 443 is heavily patrolled and speed limits must be strictly adhered to as there is no leeway. This is a major profit generator.

Officer is located in multible spots on 3 mile strech on Rte 309 both north bound and soth bound between Rte 443 and Tamaqua most often at Owl Creek Rd.

Through the gaps driving northbound, hides in an access road for the water dept, a hidden type driveway on route 309. you can’t see it until its too late

Police like to hide back on the side road and fly out at any driver going over 25mph
