Kennedy Avenue (Highway PR-2) Puerto Nuevo

San Juan, Puerto RicoFeb 12, 20140 Comments

In the stretch between San Patricio and Santurce on Kennedy Avenue, speed limit is 45 MPH. At night, particularly after midnight, the stretch is often deserted. Cops hide using radar and have issued tickets for speeds as low as 50 MPH. If you tell them the road is deserted and that it’s prudent to go at a higher speed due to crime in the area, cops become very nasty and look for reasons to issue more tickets.
