Beaconsfield, Quebec Speed Traps
Beaurepaire Dr. / BHS School zone
Cops sit on Beaconsfield Ct below the pedestrian HWY 20 overpass or west of the school.
Once school starts cops will be present at least once every few months.
St Charles and Sherbrooke street
When headind south on St Charles the police hide behind the bus stop up against a lamp post with their gun. 3-4 cruisers are waiting around the corner on Sherbrooke. Basically the same trick as Creswell but when you are heading south.
Boul. St.Charles going south.
Between Crosswell and Sherbrook single police car parks on private driveway checking traffic going south on St.Charles having speed limit 50km/h.
St. Charles Boulevard near Cresswell Drive
50 kph limit. Officer sits on the Bus stop bench with the speed gun. Additional officers step into traffic to direct speeders onto Cresswell to hand out tickets. Very difficult to see until too late.
Beaconsfield Boulevard near Legault Road
2 or 3 cops hide on the corner of Beaconsfield Boulevard and Legault, looking like regular pedestrians, with 2 or 3 cruisers waiting behind thick and tall bushes. And next to a house with a white old 1988 – 89 BMW 5 series. (Just so u know exactly where they hide). When I saw them I was heading east on Beaconsfield Boulevard, and it was too late. It was a school zone I was going about 60 – 65 km/h and they caught me. (I WAS IN A HURRY!)
