As you leave the residential area and pass in front of the apartments, they are frequently hiding along this road and catch many, many people going over the 30km hr limit.
Having grown up in this area I can tell you that this has never been an area where kids play it’s just another cash cow for our government.
Rivière Cachée between Lionel-Bertrand and Grande Allee
Police hide in a white van in the small shopping center. Turning right from Lionel-Bertrand (50km zone) onto Rivière Cachée (30 km zone), you don’t see the sign until it is too late. You can’t decelerate fast enough and the get you as soon as you pass the speed limit sign. This is not even a residential zone.
Grande Allee Boulevard near Boisclair Street

Grand Allee Boulevard near Real Beland Street
driving north on grand allee blvd. just before real beland st. the radar cop is in a bus shelter with his radar gun. his vehicle, is parked aside the bus shelter, which is out of view.
Grande-Cote & Carignan
They’re there every time of the day when they have nothing else to do. they check the stop and sometimes they are in an unmarked car. Watch out for a white impala.
I got caught there at 3 in the morning and sometimes they’re there a 3 in the afternoon.
