SQ Oficer with radar usually stationed on the left hand side at the end of the bridge. Catches center and outside lane speeders. Speed limit on and coming off the bridge is 70 kph.

Downtown – University, St. Antoine

Heading into the downtown core from the Bonaventure expressway.
If you are in the right hand lane on University at St. Antoine in front of the hotel, you BETTER turn right. If you go straight through you WILL get a ticket! That lane is reserved for right turns. They are usually there from 8 to 9 weekdays. If you get stuck in the intersection when the light changes, you will get a ticket as well! They are vicious about this!

Paré St east/west corner of Décarie

When going West on Paré/corner Decarie and want to turn North onto Decarie, left most lane must go straight, and right lane must turn right.
When going East on Paré/corner Decarie and want to turn North onto Decarie, right most lane must go straight and left lane must turn left or go straight.
Cops wait in parking lot of Ruby Foos hotel and pull over cars that turned illegally.

Jean Talon exit off Decarie Expressway South

When taking Jean Talon exit off Decarie Expressway South, first light is Paré St. Sign prohibits left turn but people always turn there. 3-4 cop cars are parked in Shell Gas Station lot almost every morning, while 1-2 cops stand on Paré on east side of Decarie.

Do not go faster then 59 km/h after you reach the bottom of the underpass. Police will nail you as soon as you speed up the hill going North in the afternoon and going south in the morning.
Watch out also at the first stop you reach, cops are waiting for you if you don’t completely immobilize your car.
