Montreal, Quebec Speed Traps
Kindersley corner Ostell Crescent
Cars going along Kindersley (both ways) are monitored by police parked on Ostell Cres. for failing to stop at the STOP signs on Kindersley.
This is a good example of enforcement, as drivers use Kindersley as a shortcut to avoid Jean Talon. The entire surrounding area is strictly residential with kids all over the place, so we welcome the police presence.
Decarie Blvd. and Isabella
When you are going East bound on Isabella and making a left turn onto Decarie Blvd. There are cops in the morning that stand out of their cars so you can’t see them. They pullover anyone that makes a left hand turn from the right lane.
Corner Lacordaire and Perinault
Police car is here every afternoon checking if you do the stop at the stop sign correctly
Corner of Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Ouest & Rue Meilleur
Small sign on the far north side of Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Ouest indicates no turning left onto Henri-Bourassa from Meilleur between 15:00-18:00. Minimum of 4-5 cops are hiding in parking lot on the north side of Henri-Bourassa every afternoon nabbing many dozens of unsuspecting drivers. This has been going on for over 8 years!
Service Road 40 East / Boulevard Bourget
Always the same guy from Monday to Friday between 7a.m. and 2p.m. He parks in the exit for Boulevard Bourget to get in the Lafarge quarry – 70 km/h zone. There is no pedestrian traffic — there no traffic getting in or out of an entrance — so the guy is a tax collector from the division of circulation. “Serve and protect” they should change that for “Watch We Collect !!!”
