Saint-Lazare, Quebec Speed Traps
Either side of the overpass over Hwy 40 on D’aoust St.
The police wait near the garden center for people travelling into St-Lazare and near the small garage for people heading back towards hwy 342. Its a 50km/h zone but its easy to be going much quicker as it is not residential and you have just come from Harwood which has a limit of 70km/h.
Hwy 40 Eastbound, between exit 22 and 26
Cops will often park out of sight in the ditch behind their pad (in between the 2 directions) and only the radar and small part of the windshield shows. OR…they will often park on top of the overpass and snipe you from there i have even seen them park the car at the bottom of the overpass and walk up with the radar only, so be very aware. Often have multiple cars, and is a daily.
State Highway 40 near Exit Number 22
HGWY 40 East Bound (In from Ottawa, towards Montreal) , between Exit22 and exit 26

Westbound Highway 40 Expressway near First exit after ile au tourtes bridge
Coming off the ile au tourtes bridge, going westbound, the SQ wait under the first overpass before the exit ramp for Vaudreuil. In fact, highway 40 from there to the Ontario border in the direction of Ottawa, you will see the SQ there at different points almost every day.Definately not worth going past 115kmh. After you come off the bridge till you get to the Ontario border. going over 120 will almost be a guarantee to be stopped for a roadside "chat."
