East Providence, Rhode Island Speed Traps
Waterman Ave
Waterman Ave heading toward Broadway. Just as you approach the bend towards Broadway, they like to hide their car on a side street and get out. They stand on the corner of the street with the radar gun and wave you over if you are going above the speed limit 25mph.
Center Street
When coming from Pawtucket Ave and turning on Center Street, there is usually a police car hiding on either the first or second street on the right hand side.
Pawtucket Ave on the East Providence line
Just as you enter East Providence from Pawtucket on Patwucket ave, they set up in the parking lot of Stanley’s Monuments. Usually see them in the evening
Roger Williams Ave. just off Pawtucket ave.
Roger Williams Ave, posted speed is 25mph. most poeple go much faster. They set up on the side streets as you enter from Pawtucket Ave, just far enough so they can not be seen until it is too late.
Entering EP from the east side over the Henderson Bridge.
The police car is on the grass on the extreme right after the second exit where the road widens and approaching the end of the road. You can only see the top of the police car first and it is so far over to the right you don’t even notice it. I’ve seen police cars on this strecth of road before in the wide break down lane, but never way over on the grass.
