Just after passing Rt 6 exit on Rt295 south Police sit in brakedown lane around corner four hundred yards ahead. You are going down hill at this point
every saturday at @11 am/noon R.I. troopers hide in woods on 295 southbound at rt6 overpass
Plainfield Pike is probably the heaviest enforced road in Johnston. Johnston PD is usually out in force around 7:00am for the morning rush. They usually hide in a number of spots approaching the old Lombardi’s 1025 club. Several roads prior heading coming from Cranston they’ll have officer with laser tagging cars. They usually use the old 1025 (Now a Latin church) to ticket the offenders. They are usually there most of the day. At night a single officer is usually at the 1025, in the storage facility slight further down the road, or Calef Street.
Travelling route 6 east from 295, on the left hand side atwood ave overpass, there are a group of guardrails, state police like to sit behind them. This is right on side of the left lane and in a downhill motion so you may tend to be speeding without realizing it……..speed limit is 50 mph also, should be 65, wide open road.
The next exit killingly street, right over the crest of the hill before the exit is also a hot spot
