South Kingstown, Rhode Island Speed Traps

Police officer standing on side walk with Laser Gun pointed at vehicles, but can’t be seen until you round the corner. His cruiser is parked way in the back of Chello’s Restaurant parking lot(private property).

Although this street is a mere 100 feet long makes no difference to the police. They are on it at all times of the day with every type of enforcement. I actually seen an airplane clocking vehicles on this road.

This part of Saugatucket Road is so close to the Police Station you have to expect it to be monitored. All of the major roads are cruised by the police (ie. Broad Rock, Rose Hill and Kingstown,) so expect to see cruisers around. A cruiser is occaisonally parked on Palisades facing out at anytime of day or night.

Regular police officer hides in a cemetery road used infrequently that is parallel to Rt. 138. From going towards URI, you round a corner so that you never see the cop and he has you.

As you turn off of Main St. and head west the laser trap is set up on the left side of the road in a new subdivision road as you go up the hill. They have a clear shot of cars coming towards them and the speed limit is an unrealistic 30 mph.
