Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Speed Traps
Idylwyld Drive Service Road between 51st st. and 60th st.
Ghost cars cruising up and down with radar or laser trap set up in one of the business driveways. 50k zone
School Zone +33St E + Alberta Ave
This is a school zone and the police like to stand in the hill to catch speeders. They will pull you over in the parking lot on the East side of 1 block after you pass the School zone sign. Particularly a bad ticket, as it’s in a school zone and it will cost you points on your driving record. They like to hang out there when there is no school going on during that day, but you still have to obey the limit.
Warman Road around MD ambulance.
They often set up in either direction, they usually pull people into the parking lot of MD Ambulance if you are heading north on Warman Road, and usually into a small dirt roadway across the street if heading south
Miller AVE and 47 Street NE
Officers frequent this area for both north and southbound vehicles. Speed limit is 50km/hr and there are four lanes . Southbound They are famous for hiding in one businesses trees and then they radio another officer down road who runs out into traffic to flag down motorists. North bound they have endless business parking lots to hide in . Have been spotted in designated parking stalls blending with parked cars . This speed trap is notorious and the worst one in the city . by far. As well with no lights at any crossings during high volume periods you are required to accelerate very quickly to make a left turn onto miller . Officers will issue summons for speeding even if only 51 km hr they do not like the aggressive drive…. best bet use faithfull or warman rd
Preston Ave. By Walter Murray School
Correction to the trap… they will pull you over in the church parking lot on the WEST side of Preston, not the East side. Sorry for any confusion.
