There is a new “traffic enforcement team” for Bluffton. 2 Black Ford Taurus. They like to hide in the woods on HWY 170 to extort motorists. One of them has said (exact words) that if you have a radar detector in your vehicle, you are definitely getting a speeding a ticket because that tells him you are a habitual offender. Translated, that is just a simple way of saying “you will be ticketed and extorted regardless so I can meet my ticket quota and make money for my department.”

Tanger Outlet 1 stop light

Sitting back out of sight at Tanger Outlet 1 at night, there is a BCSD standing outside of his vehicle using LASER to tag unsuspecting motorists for revenue. He WILL NOT pursue. Instead, a unmarked, RED BLACKED OUT windowed 2011 Ford Mustang will pull you over and handle the revenue ticket. BEWARE of this new vehicle BCSD has. You wont know about it until it’s too late

Right before the bridges to HHI, this morning on my commute to Hilton Head, I saw a SC Highway patrol standing outside his car, either using laser or radar pointing at incoming traffic. They must be hurting for revenue.
