Murray Lindler Road near Lexington Ave Avenue
I went through the flashing red light that crosses Lexington Ave. I was not paying attention and started around corner over the speed limit. This was my first ticket and I’m 50. I deserved it. However, the Sheriff’s have been given extended territory and can cover a much larger area now. The extended area included the part that I was speeding on. Watch out Chapin they are giving tickets big time.
State Route 76 near chapin city limits

By High School also By Catholic Church
The Chapin Police vigorously enforce the 35 mile an hour speed limit. The speed limit drops at the city line–hence coming from the Lake into Town–the cops hide behind the sign at the Catholic Church on Amicks Ferry Road and, from the other end of town, as you come to the High School where the speed drops to 35. It is enforced 24 hours a day.
