Estill, South Carolina Speed Traps

Be sure to come to a COMPLETE STOP. I slowed to no more than 2 mph as there was a car approaching from the left ( I was making a right).
Ticketed for not stopping 4 points and $232.50.

Speeding up to a 45. Mph sign , police setting on side of road and pulled me over for 47 on a 35 and I was within 100 feet of 45 sign. Charged me 2 point $88.00. Oh yeah on highway 3.

Speeding up before the 45 mph sign, coming from the 35 mph zone is over-eagerly enforced with $133.75 and 4 points. The 35 mile zone is in rural area, not in town.

Nothing much on this short stretch of Hwy. 3 leaving town, but posted limit of 35 mph doesn’t change for much too long. Police hide off road and get you just before the speed changes to 45 mph.
