I-385 just south of I-85 interchange

Greenville, South CarolinaJan 01, 20010 Comments

Cops sit in the median under a bridge, or fly in a helicopter and stop massive amounts of people on the days of enforcment. Expect tickets for anything over 10mph, and reckless driving for over 15mph.

I-85 Exits 19 to 68

Greenville, South CarolinaJan 01, 20010 Comments

This highway is posted well below the average speed on any section. Traffic runs 70 to 78 mph most of the time. The speed limit is now posted at 60 mph supposedly because there was an exceptionally high fatality count on the highway last year. In the last year, the cops had issued nearly twice the number of tickets on that road the same year that they had the accidents. Ironic. Watch out for Greenville County Sheriff on occasion and SC Highway Patrol in unmarked camaros as well as their standard rides. One of these cops almost caused an accident pulling people over nearer to Exit 44.

I-85 ( North ) Before White Horse Road Exit

Greenville, South CarolinaJul 01, 20000 Comments

There is a sudden change in a speed limit after White Horse Road Exit and the cops hide on one of the side lanes and will stop you as you just pass the exit and will give you a ticket for sure. On Sunny days, you can find them on Motorcycle too. So Watch out!
