GCSO traffic units have been really active in the vicinity of Old Spartanburg Road at Brushy Creek Road, in addition to the portion of Old Spartanburg in front of Eastside High School. This is mainly in the afternoon. Also, several afternoons a week, around 2 or 3pm, a tan colored undercover car (Chevy Impala, heavily tinted windows) will park on the side of Old Spartanburg Road right near the ’25mph’ school speed limit sign.
US Highway 29 near State Highway 291
Near intersection of US-29 (Wade Hampton Blvd) and SC-291 (Pleasantburg Dr). As you are approaching Bob Jones University while heading Southwest on US-29, police will hide behind the bushes planted in the median. It is at best difficult to see them until you have passed by.
Batesville Road near Sugar Creek Sub.
Gvl County Usually has a (Marked)"Courtesy Officer" Patrolling the Sugar Creek Sub. area along w/Batesville. Unit 723 and a few others. You will be stopped for Speeding!
Interstate 385 North near Roper Mountain Road
Greenville City Cop parked sideways under bridge on right side. Easy to spot. Stay in left most lane to avoid.
