Greenville, South Carolina Speed Traps
Greenville-US-276, SC-291, I-385
New traffic DPU enforcement team in Greenville is everywhere! Watch out on any of these roads.
Salter Rd. (connection between Verdae & Forrester)
This is almost a country road – very few vehicles, most travel between 45-55, and is a great cut-through to avoid Laurens Rd traffic. Posted speed is 35mph. Watch out!!!
I-85 between exit 39 and 54
They’re cracking down on this stretch of highway HARD CORE! There are ALWAYS cops out there!
I-85 South
State Troopers (unmarked C.V. or camaro) or Greenville county (dark blue c.v.) park along the road with no lights on and on the dark parts of the highway with no lights over them. Usually don’t see them until you are right there at them.
I-85 North, just before Pelham Road Exit
I’ve been in Greenville now about a month and go thru this section of I-85 M-F, my radar detector goes off alot about a mile short of the Pelham road exit, especially before the access road/exit on the left (has a broken gate). I see people getting pulled over on a regular basis along this section of road……cars are physically pulled over about 500′ before the Pelham Road exit.
