Greer, South Carolina Speed Traps

Greer City sits in the parking lot of the Goodwill Store right before the Walgreen’s and runs radar or shoots laser towards traffic coming from greenville direction. Speed limit is 45mph through that area.

Greer city police like to sit in the old hotspot gas station that is now shut down and shoot down south main towards Greer which is basically shooting north on south main. You don’t see them until you top the hill and round the bend and there they sit in the closed down gas station. You don’t see them until the last second especially when its dark. They also like to sit in the Riverside Seafood Restaurant also shooting north on south main and then they get you as soon as you top the hill. They really like doing this trap in the a.m. during the morning rush but really you can find them anytime.

Police park in the Jarden Plastic Solutions driveway and shoot laser up and down Batesville road. They immediately pull you over into the driveway and issue tickets. It’s only 35mph in that area and folks tend to travel faster down the hill.
