Traveling north on Hwy 17 the last signage for the speed limit is 45mph near Charlton National Subdivision. From the Wando High School to William Smith/ McNeil Funeral Home is ALL 45mph according to the officer who gave me a $135.00 ticket. All of 17 north from the Arthur Ravenell Bridge to Chandler Road is 45mph. How Knew?

When traveling on 526 the speed limit changes from 65 mph to 55 mph at the Georgetown exit. A patrol car sits just around curve to catch speeders and is not seen until after you rounded the curve.
