I’ve been driving this for 10 years and several times a week, every week, you will see radar taken. This is a short corridor for the Oconee County Sheriff to generate revenue that lies between Anderson County and the state of GA. The state joins in so you get double penetration some days. They are especially found of catching GA drivers as the speed reduced coming into SC.

Anderson County Deputy or SC HP officer parks in Post Office parking lot, with view of Hwy 24 north and south. The southbound speed limit changes abruptly from 55 to 35 to 25 within 400 yards of the Post Office.
