Varnville, South Carolina Speed Traps

Speed limit on Mill Pond Rd. is 30 mph starting from intown going north. Almost a mile north, road curves left, and a 55 mph sign comes in view. Police will sit in blind spot of this curve, facing south, nailing people who start to accelerate from 30 to 55 too soon. There is only ONE 30 mph sign at town end, and any car pulling onto Mill Pond Rd. from a side road further north will NOT see this sign!
