On South Carolina State Highway 11 the Speed Limits Drops from 55 to 45 as you enter a curve going Northbound near Ridgecrest Road (S-37-177) and as you top a hill going Southbound near Richland Road (S-37-13) SCHP sets in front of Parkway Campers where they are hidden from view due to curves traveling Northbound and Southbound. You want see the SCHP until you exit the curve then it’s too late.

US Highway Route 76

The entire city of Westminster is a speed trap. Beware as you enter the city from the west on Route 76, as the speed limit drops to 25mph within a few hundred yards. The same occurs when entering the city limits from the west. City police hide out on the main drag between the BP station at the junction of 76 and the Townville road and the western edge of town, where the route forks toward Clayton, Georgia and Toccoa, Georgia. Police patrolmen will follow a driver closely until given a reason to pull them over. I have been pulled over there twice, and other members of my family have as well.
