Cops sit in front of the old liquor store at Wilson Ave and 6th st catching speeders leaving town to the west.
6th St Florist
Police park in the parking lot of the 6th St Florists between McDonald’s and Medary Ave. It is near where the speed limit changes from 35 to 30. It is on the other side of a hill so they will see you before you see them.
I-29 1 Mile south of exit 132
HP and city police sit in the median looking at northbound I-29 traffic. Northbound traffic cannot see them because of a bridge aproach.
I-29 Approximately 1-2 miles North of Brookings
Sits in Interstate median north of Brookings approximately 1-2 miles after dark. County Sheriff in dark colored car. Able to clock speeders from either direction.
Area is open and flat, they will see you before you see them.
6th Street near 2nd Avenue
City car sits parked in City Plaza parking lot (north side of street) next to road, able to enforce in both directions. Difficult to see especially if there are other parked cars.
