South Dakota State Trooper sometimes unmarked Crown Victoria. Usually sitting in the center of I90 Well hidden behind the Exit signs in the center. They also travel among traffic in Unmarked Crown Vics. If you see a vehicle in the center of I90 it is probally a State Trooper…So Slow down. The speed limit goes from 75 to 65. It is 65 all thru Rapid, and that is where the Troopers concetrate the most is on this 65 MPH stretch.

Special police are hired seasonally to do nothing but police the work zones. They have high quotas and write anything that moves. I’ve heard of fines as high as $250!
