on I-90 heading East coming into Sioux Falls, the speed limit changes from 80 to 65 and trust me when i say, A) you won’t see the sign and b) he’s sitting right there waiting to ticket you for speeding.
you won’t get a warning no matter what you say and i bet you a dime to dognut you’ll get a tckt that will cost you $105, which is 10 over no matter how fast you were going.

Interstate 229

The speed limit is 65 on two lane highways (State and federal hwys)… very reasonable. Make sure you are going 65 mph on 229. It’s mainly for your own safety….. but there are state police that park in the center…. watching your speed. How can a criminal offense be a civil offense at the same time. What would happen if the police stopped you at the same time… which should happen because the cameras are not there to make money. The law CLEARLY states that a crime is a crime….. speeding is a crime not a civil offense.

Speed limit in Ellis is 25 miles an hour very few people follow the speed limit and as many as 3 or 4 at a time have been stopped. Minnehaha County and the State Highway patrol find this area to be a big money maker.
