10 miles north and south of I20 on I95
This week (4/26-4/30) this is a massive concentration of law enforcement on I95 from mm 171 to 154. There is a congregation of 50-55 units stationed temporarily at the old IFH warehouse facility just off of I95 on a frontage road.
They shuttle in and out of there, using the exit at mm 164. They are using a variety of differently marked vehicles, SUV’s, etc. with different counties’ markings. Last night (4/26 at 10:30 pm I personally witnessed 5 separate and simultaneous traffic stops in a one mile stretch from mm 171 to mm 172. This morning at 8AM I saw 2 stops on that same stretch. These are not simple traffic stops; in 3 of the 7 stops I saw vehicles being searched as well as one handcuffed motorist this morning. These guys are serious folks.
