Loop 101 through Scottsdale is trapped like crazy 24/7. The first sign is a DPS car parked in the median just before 202 with rear-facing radar that radios up ahead to officers on bikes, in cars, whatever. There are also plans to use photo radar vans. Speed limit is 65, but the highway is broad and straight. Going 65 will get you honked at, flipped off, and eventually turned into someone else’s hood ornament. Be advised: THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING. A friend of mine was recently handed a ticket at one of the speed traps after being told he was clocked at 68 in a 65 zone.
