As you come downhill on 101 Southbound passing the exit for Candlestick/ 3Com park, Motorcycle officers routinely sit off to the right at the edge of the on-ramp waiting for victims. I don’t have a radar detector so I am unsure as to what they use, but I see them there pretty regularly in the afternoon and usually slow down while it is light out. They’re difficult to see until you’re almost perpindicular to them, so use the brakes in this easy-to-go-fast downhill section.
