127th Street near 76th to 80th Avenue

Small stretch of 127th street connecting 80th avenue to 127th street near 76th avenue, near Palos East School. Slightly hilly, and extends below power-lines, past bike and walking paths. Power-line easement is one area police like to sit, catching you as you cross the bike-path area. I got caught going West, right after clearing last hill and just coming into sight of 80th avenue. Police was sitting with radar ready to pounce and, from others I have talked-to, most likely made his quota. My wife and neighbor have gotten nailed there, also. 20 mph is not an unreasonable speed here, given the residential status and limited visibility. However, the police certainly take advantage of the 20 MPH as an opportunity to make a bit of cash for the town. Don’t expect a warning.
